The Brockton Council on Aging, 10 Father Kenney Way, will host Plymouth County Register of Deeds John Buckley, on Tuesday, Feb. 28^th at 1 p.m. The program is designed to update senior citizens on the Homestead Act and recording issues which impact the elderly.

The lecture will include a question and answer period and pamphlets will be available on issues discussed. Anyone interested in filing a Homestead form must bring the following:  deed, book, page, and Certificate of Title number. The cost of filing the Declaration of Homestead is $37, due at time of filing. Payment must be in the form of cash or personal check.
